Falling Back on White

Sweater: Margaret O'Leary; Embellished Tee: Mom's Vintage, circa 1980s; White Jeans: United Colors of Benetton; Studded Flats: Steve Madden; Bag: Forever21: Bow: Forever21; Hoops & Sunnies: Nordstroms

I can't stand fashion rules, especially the no white after Labor Day rule.
I love wearing white, so effortlessly chic.
There are definitely ways to wear white throughout the year,
and here is a fall version!

Leo Forever

Army Green Coat: Margaret O'Leary; Leo Print Dress: Sway; Sandals: Steve Madden; Color Block Clutch: Madewell; Jewelry: Vintage

I cannot believe it's already mid September. Crazyyy.
Just got this leo printed dress from Sway
and I'm in love with it.
Leopard print is always a good staple to have on hand.
A very special thanks to my sister,
 who took these pics.

Polka Dot Cardigan; Polka Dot Blouse: Madewell; Striped Skirt: UK Style by French Connection, Sears;  Flats: Steve Madden, TJMaxx; Necklace: Forever 21
PRINTS, ON PRINTS, ON PRINTS!
But really, I am kinda obsessed.
This skirt is such a steal-- only twenty dollars!
I love the French Connection line at Sears,
honestly one of my favorite places to find good quality and trendy clothing.

Pretty Dress

Magenta Cardigan: Forever21; Dress: Sway; Studded Flats: Steve Madden; Necklace: Forever21
I love this dress from Sway, because of its pretty flow and delicate layered look.
It's so comfortable and can be worn in a variety of ways.
I snagged these Steve Madden flats for only $40!
Who isn't obsessed with studs right now?
I was quite pleased with that purchase.

Hot Summer Afternoon

Lace Hi-Lo Tank: Forever21; Floral High Waisted Shorts: TopShop; Green Flats: Steve Madden; Jade Necklace: Vintage, circa 1970s; Sunnies: H&M; Hoops: Forever21

The last few days have been beautiful in California!
The weather has been scorching, so I decided to wear this loose fitting lace tank.
I love its gold button details and peter pan collar-
so girly-but the hem gives it a bit of an edge.
This season, I don't think anyone can go wrong with floral print.
I snagged these Top Shop shorts for under 20 dollars,

while traveling in England two summers ago.
I wanted to give a very special thank you to my friend Katie, who took these pictures for me!
She was such a great sport and I think we might have found a new career outlet for her:
art direction!

Keeping it Simple

I wore this look over the weekend, while I was working,
and I absolutely love this black dress that I recently got from Forever21.
It was such a great essential steal!
I liked how chic it looked with the black leggings and tan sandals.
I added a pop of blue to bring some color to the look.
I am not used to wearing such a simple fit- I am such a huge fan of colors and prints-
but sometimes it is nice to switch it up!

Look:
Black Dress: Forever21
Black Leggings
Tan Sandals: Steve Madden
Bag: Burberry
Necklace: Outside Market; Visby
Bug Ring: Vintage
Sunnies: Sway

Multiple Versions: Dotted Button Up

I think I am absolutely in love with this silk dotted blouse.
Something about its abstracted dots, making them look like olives in my opinion,
makes this shirt unique from every other dotted shirt out there.
I literally have been wearing it non stop...
yesterday I decided to pair it with my new shorts from Urban.
The combination of geometric shapes was so much fun!
Unfortunately, once I got to the city, my look had to become a bit more weather appropriate.
AKA throw on the layers and pull on the leggings.
It gets so damn breezy in the bay.
But hey, I can't complain about the weather...
at least the sun was out rather than the fog :P

Look:
Silk Dotted Blouse: Cabi
Navy Printed Shorts: BDG; Urban Outfitters
Hooded Shawl: Cabi
Green Pointed Flats: Steve Madden
Sunnies: H&M
Ring: H&M
