Peplum and Dots

Cashmere Sweater: Grandma's, Vintage; Polka Dot Peplum Blouse: No Label,  Purchased in Hong Kong;
Black Skinny Jeans: Jigsaw London; Blue Loafers: Le Saunda, Hong Kong; Clutch: Madewell; Necklace: Urban Outfitters; Glasses: Prada, Purchased in Hong Kong

I am in love with this polka dotted peplum top
that I purchased on vacation in Hong Kong.
I'm also loving my new black skinny jeans that are from Jigsaw London,
which is the new company I am working for.
Jigsaw has an amazing collection of classic pieces that still incorporate the hottest trends.

Vintage Dots

Magenta Cardigan: Forever21; Polka Dot Blouse: Vintage; Geometric Shorts: BDG, Urban Outfitters; Leather Bag: Cole Haan; Shoes: Chucks; Navy Sunnies: Nordstroms

My sister, who works in costume design, is visiting at the moment.
She gave me this awesome vintage polka dot blouse from one of the sets.
I love the collar on this blouse! The collar has an awesome shape.
Once the fall season hits, it will look really great layered under a dress.

Multiple Versions: Dotted Button Up

I think I am absolutely in love with this silk dotted blouse.
Something about its abstracted dots, making them look like olives in my opinion,
makes this shirt unique from every other dotted shirt out there.
I literally have been wearing it non stop...
yesterday I decided to pair it with my new shorts from Urban.
The combination of geometric shapes was so much fun!
Unfortunately, once I got to the city, my look had to become a bit more weather appropriate.
AKA throw on the layers and pull on the leggings.
It gets so damn breezy in the bay.
But hey, I can't complain about the weather...
at least the sun was out rather than the fog :P

Look:
Silk Dotted Blouse: Cabi
Navy Printed Shorts: BDG; Urban Outfitters
Hooded Shawl: Cabi
Green Pointed Flats: Steve Madden
Sunnies: H&M
Ring: H&M

It was a mix and match type of day!
I love my new silk polka dotted blouse, which looked lovely
with my red maxi lace skirt.
I was really feeling this combination of different textures, colors, and prints.
I'm so excited for the weather to start warming up...
cannot believe yesterday was the first day of summer ! ! !

Green Shorts for the Spring Time

I love my new green shorts because they are the perfect color for spring.
The little blue button details are really cute too.
Sometimes I hate shopping at stores like F21 and H&M because the details, whether its weird buttons or bizarre prints, can be simply tacky.
Buuuuutttt these green shorts were definitely the exception!

Still loving the trend of polka dots- just trying to get all my use before they run their course ;)
I love this cashmere sweater shirt that my sister snagged for me. She works wardrobe in film/TV, and this was a treasure from NBC's The Playboy Club.
Green Shorts Look:
Sweater: UK Style by French Connection; Sears
Cashmere Sweater Top; Vintage, circa 1960s
Green Shorts: F21
Dotted Tights: H&M
Booties: Steve Madden
Necklace: H&M

Late Afternoon Spring Look

I love my new shirt that I randomly found while shopping at F21. Typically I don't feel very comfortable going braless, but sometimes fashion calls for it.
Good thing my girlfriend Jackie was there to give me some confidence!! ;)
This spring, I am all about prints and colors!
I love how the teal looks against the black shorts, allowing the floral print to stand out. It's still chilly outside, so warm sweaters and tights are still a must. I love this vintage cashmere sweater; it literally goes with any outfit. The boots are vintage Gucci, which once belonged to my grandmother.
The contrast of textures- the heavy boots and sweater paired with the light cotton shirt and shorts- is a great way to rock that "in-between seasons" look.

Jackie and I are printed out.

Oh yeah, and afterwards we got amazing Indian food at this place called Curry Up Now!
Jackie is posing with her deconstructed samosa, and her boyfriend Justin is hiding in the back with his munchies :)
We always have the best (and stylish) times together!
