The summer months have been rolling by fast--

cannot believe it is almost the end of July!!

I wore this look to work yesterday, so the longer skirt was an appropriate necessity. 

I also love this cut out blouse from Sway, especially its metallic studded collar!

I am obsessed with this maxi that I recently purchased. 

Since I am pretty short, I typically stay clear of the maxi lengths, 

but this maxi skirt has amazing lines, giving it a really beautiful shape.

I couldn't resist it... and it was on sale, so holla!

I was super excited to see that they were on sale, 

and completely overjoyed when I went to pay 

and learnt that I was receiving an additional 30% off the sale mark!

Cool Summer

Once I was done with work, 

I met up with Jackie and we quickly pulled together a shoot.

I've been toning down the bright colors recently, 

and playing around with more subtle shades. 

I love this tan dress: the print is interesting but not overwhelming, 

and its layered look gives the dress a really nice shape.

Keeping it Simple

I wore this look over the weekend, while I was working, 

and I absolutely love this black dress that I recently got from Forever21.

It was such a great essential steal!

I liked how chic it looked with the black leggings and tan sandals. 

I added a pop of blue to bring some color to the look. 

I am not used to wearing such a simple fit- I am such a huge fan of colors and prints- 

but sometimes it is nice to switch it up!
