Poodle Sitting

This weekend I looked after Poppy, who belongs to Jackie's mom.
He is the sweetest poodle that you will ever meet.
Although he is small and craves lots of attention, it was so much fun to look after him.
...I will admit: I got a bit attached and it was hard to see him leave.
But regardless, Jackie and I utilized our time with him and decided to take a look!
Jackie also styled me this day, which is always fun,
because you never know what your friends will pull out of your closet!

video exclusive

Whenever we are about to do a shoot, Jackie and I always find ourselves in "the zone."
For some, like our photographer (Jackie's BF Justin), can find this a tad bit annoying.
I had to post this video because it made me laugh so hard.
Justin is clearly trying to get our attention, and of course, we are way too self consumed to care.
Girls will be girls...

Day Off

I had the day off work yesterday, so I drove down to Santa Cruz to hang out with Jackie.
We had such a fun time, and took these awesome shots on a cliff that overlooked the Pacific Ocean.
Summer is just around the corner,
so bright colors and showing a little skin felt like a necessity.

It's so hard for me to put into words the relationship I have with Jackie

While taking some our pictures, we made some friends in the process...
(They were totally checking out our fits :p)

that $10 sweater

I love this cropped sweater that I snagged at Forever21 for only ten dollars.
I decided to make a little knot in the front
because it complimented the pants so well.
This look was a bit rushed (taken on a work break)
but the look was too cute & needed to be documented.

weekend afternoon look

It's been really nice weather recently,
so I pulled out this vintage floral bustier that has been store away
during the winter months.
I love how the cropped bustier looked with the high waisted pants,
and the color of the pants allowed the floral print to really pop!

Another day, another work outfit.

It has been so hot in the Bay Area, so my manager told me I could wear shorts...
only if they were work appropriate.
Thankfully, I have these brown suede shorts, which rock and worked perfectly.

Rory Beca for F21 ..Take 2

This is the Rory Beca skirt that I purchased at the same time I got the tank.
I love the pattern and color of the skirt, and it flows in such a beautiful way.

The mint sequin cropped top was a present from my aunt. It's a vintage piece from Paris.
Jackie and I decided that the sequin shirt gave the whole look a bit of a pop,
and as a result, I gained the alter ego of Party Princess.

Party Princess Look:
